We drove to Gatlinburg to have our engagement pictures taken today. I'm relieved to have that over with! Don't get me wrong...it was my idea to do them; I just had major anxiety about having them done. You see, I don't think that I am particularly photogenic and nobody likes to have their picture taken when they've put on some weight. But, despite that, it was fun and I'm glad we did it! The photographer, Genelda Myers of Contrast Photo, was super friendly and very helpful in 'posing' us. She said that she'd probably have the 'rough' pictures for us to view in about 2 weeks. Then, we will pick the ones we like best and she will do some touch ups on them for us.

I am going to stop freaking out about them now. They're done and there's nothing more I can do make them any better at this point. Ahhhh...letting go :)
I'll share them with y'all as soon as I can. In the meantime, I don't like to publish a post without a picture...(it's just not the same, ya know) so here's an older pic of Bill and I in Gatlinburg in the Fall for your viewing pleasure (LOL!!)
